The game, Chore Wars, is a game every parent would love! It wil keep children motivated to make their beds and help with other daily chores. It can also be fun for parents to play right along with the kids.
This game is played in real life (online computer game) — not in a virtual life. You could say it's a simplified version of World of Warcraft, except that all of the tasks are real world cleaning chores. And the people you play with are not scattered across the globe, but are your own children, roommates, family, or even officemates.
This game is free to play and could be Mom's answer to getting help around the house without the whining — but plenty of winning. Mom (or Dad) signs up as the Dungeon Master, and the other can be a Henchling (semi-admin). Sign up the children as an Apprentice, Adventurer, or an NPC (small child who can do chores but is not old enough to use the computer).
You create the chores, the adventures and even fight the dragons (or not) — you choose. Each player gets XP points for each chore. XP value should be the number of minutes it takes to perform a task.
Each time a player racks up 200 XP, they level UP. There are gold pieces to be won and spent in whatever manner the Dungeon Master decides to allow.
Each person chooses a character. Here are some examples of the choices:

There are so many ways you can structure Chore Wars to make it applicable to your situation and your family. Be sure and read the Help page — it has all the rules and instructions. Go ahead and play!
